Astral Caravans. Stoneferry, Hull. Builders of 'tourers', Astral produced their first 'showmans' in 1962, called the 'Ranger', followed by the 'Lavengro' and finally the 'Varda' last produced in 1980. Two other 'travellers trailers' were also produced, the 'Luxitrailer' and the 'Road Ranger', these last two were I believe aimed more at showmen as they were built with both kitchen sinks and toilet compartments as 'standard', however they proved very popular with travellers.
